Weleda Almond Body Lotion

Welwda - Almond Skin Care for Sensitive Skin

Since the party season has finished, I noticed my skin looking tired and stressed from the late nights and rich foods – all of which can have a disaster effect on skin. Desperate for a quick cure to have my skin looking rejuvenated and fresh again. I looked to the Weleda Body Lotions. As my skin is going through a sensitive stage, I chose Weleda Almond Body Lotion. This body lotion, unlike the others in the range has a neutral, very subtle smell – excellent for those who don’t want perfumes to clash. Weleda Almond Body Lotion is the latest release, and lives up to the expectations made by the all previous Weleda products.

It has a very light and runny consistency. Quite unusual for a body lotion. Personally, I have a belief that if the lotion is too thin then what use is it going to do? Will it add any moisture or will my skin look and feel the same as before? I couldn’t have been more wrong. A small amount of the body lotion really does go a long way, and the nourishing effect of this lotion can be felt instantly. It applies with a smooth silky feeling without leaving skin feeling greasy and sticky. Only a few minutes later (enough time to use our Weleda Facial Care Products!) and your legs are left feeling moisturised and you can get dressed without the fear of your clothes sticking to you. Overall, Weleda Almond Body Lotion is a very good product for those in a hurry or those with sensitive skin.

The entire Weleda Almond range has a similar feel to all lotions, each one being quite thin and silky but leaves your skin feeling as though you’ve used a body butter! Prices range from RRP £13.95 to RRP £21.95 depending on which fragance you pick as ingredients vary slightly. There are fruity scents, floral aromas and more subtle fragrances. In total there are 6 lotions to choose from, so there is bound to be one to match your style, personality and skin type!
